This is what Veolia's hazardous waste treatment facility in Port Arthur, Texas, is capable of treating using cutting-edge technologies and AI-driven digital solutions. ?? This facility treats complex waste streams from a wide range of industries, including chemical, pharmaceutical, and microelectronic. And it is the only facility in the #US authorized by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to eliminate dioxin waste. In the plant, Veolia is implementing MasterChef, an #AI-based program aimed at optimizing the hazardous waste mix fed to the incinerator. The use of digital solutions based on artificial intelligence allows data analysis to optimize treatment operations and the plant’s environmental performance by reducing toxic emissions.
